[ david, once he gets in there, peels off his jacket with a hiss of pain and dumps it down on a workbench that looks relatively unoccupied. after a moment does the same with his shirt, if a lot slower and with a lot more complaints from his body about it. it's plainly obvious just from a glance that he's been through it, upper arm and shoulder cut up from when he landed on it in the glass, but there's a cut on his forehead too, his hands and forearms. those have mostly dried up, but his shoulder is still bleeding pretty heavily. ]
